Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the rights, obligations, responsibilities, conditions and procedures between DTDMC Crisis Diagnosis Platform (the "Company") and members in connection with the use of the Company's economic and health crisis-diagnosis and information services (the "Service").
Article 2 (Definitions)
The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows.
- "Service": all services provided by the Company, including economic crisis-diagnosis information, health management tools, the webzine, the community (boards), the reference library, and mileage.
- "Member": a person who agrees to these Terms, creates an account, and uses the Service.
- "Account": the email, password, and related information set by a member for identification and use of the Service.
- "Content": all materials a member posts or registers in the Service, such as posts, comments, images, and records.
- "Mileage": non-cash points granted by the Company based on use of and activity in the Service.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
1) The Company posts these Terms on the Service so that members can easily review them.
2) The Company may amend these Terms within the limits permitted by applicable law.
3) When amending these Terms, the Company will announce the effective date and reason at least 7 days in advance (30 days in advance for changes that are unfavorable or material to members).
4) If a member does not express refusal by the effective date of the amended Terms, the member is deemed to have agreed. A member who does not agree may terminate the service agreement.
Article 4 (Services)
The main services provided by the Company are as follows, and their specific composition may change as operationally necessary.
- Economic crisis-diagnosis information: information that integrates public economic, industrial, and satellite data into a single framework to observe and explain structural vulnerabilities and early-warning signals of a national economy.
- Economic diagnosis report (consultation-based): detailed diagnosis reports are not currently provided directly on the web. After receiving a member's consultation request, the report is provided offline as a document (Word) file. The scope, schedule, and conditions are explained individually during consultation.
- Health management tools: non-medical wellness tools that help members record and manage their own health and access educational information, including the aging-pathway check, the bone bank (calcium and bone-density records), and bone-density (DXA) report records.
- Webzine and reference library: educational content on economics, health, and theory.
- Community (boards): boards for information exchange and consultation among members.
- Mileage: non-cash points granted for sign-up, activity, and the like.
Article 5 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
1) The service agreement is formed when an applicant agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, submits the information in the Company's sign-up form, and the Company accepts the application.
2) The Company may refuse acceptance, or later terminate the agreement, for applications that fall under any of the following.
- Using another person's name or information without authorization.
- Entering false information or failing to provide information requested by the Company.
- A child under 14 applying without the consent of a legal representative.
- Cases likely to disrupt normal operation of the Service or to violate law or these Terms.
Article 6 (Account and Member Information)
1) Members are responsible for managing their account and password and must not allow any third party to use them.
2) Members must promptly update any change to the information provided at sign-up; the Company is not liable for disadvantages arising from a failure to update.
3) If a member becomes aware that the account has been stolen or is being used by a third party without authorization, the member must immediately notify the Company and follow its guidance.
4) The Company may choose not to require email verification for ease of sign-up, but may request email verification for security and identity confirmation.
Article 7 (Member Obligations and Prohibited Acts)
Members must not do any of the following.
- Stealing another person's personal information or account, or registering false information.
- Infringing the intellectual property, reputation, or other rights of the Company or third parties.
- Posting inappropriate content such as abuse, defamation, discrimination, obscenity, or illegal information.
- Using the Service for purposes other than intended, such as solicitation, advertising, or spam.
- Collecting data by automated means (crawling) without authorization, or imposing excessive load on the system.
- Exploiting vulnerabilities of the Service or interfering with its normal operation.
- Any other act that violates applicable law or these Terms.
Article 8 (Rights and Responsibility for Content)
1) The copyright in content created by a member belongs to that member.
2) A member grants the Company a free license to use such content (posting, reproduction, display, etc.) to the extent necessary for operating, displaying, and promoting the Service. The Company does not use content beyond this scope.
3) Responsibility for content lies with the author. The Company may make private or delete, without prior notice, content that violates Article 7 or applicable law.
4) Posts written as secret are viewable only by the author and the operator.
Article 9 (Mileage)
1) Mileage is non-cash points granted by the Company for sign-up, activity, and the like, and is not refundable in cash.
2) The criteria for earning and using mileage follow Company policy, and changes are announced in advance.
3) Mileage earned by improper means may be reclaimed, and mileage is forfeited upon withdrawal of membership.
Article 10 (Paid Services and Payment)
1) The Service is currently provided free of charge. If any paid service is introduced, the Company will clearly display the transaction terms, such as price, payment method, and refund criteria, on the payment screen and obtain the member's consent.
2) Withdrawal of subscription and refunds for paid services follow applicable laws, including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
3) At payment, card and other payment-method information is processed by the payment gateway; the Company does not directly store payment information such as card numbers.
Article 11 (Nature and Limits of Information and Tools)
1) The economic crisis-diagnosis information provided by the Company is information for observation and education based on public data. It is not investment advice, a solicitation to trade, a guarantee of returns, or a prediction of future prices or markets, and responsibility for investment decisions lies with the member.
2) The health management tools are non-medical wellness tools that help members record and manage their own health and access educational information. They are not medical acts such as diagnosis, treatment, or prescription of disease, and do not replace care by a medical professional. Please consult a medical professional for health decisions.
3) The bone-density (DXA) report recognition feature is an aid that transcribes the numbers on a report as they are, and does not perform medical interpretation or diagnosis. Members must verify the recognized results themselves.
Article 12 (Changes and Suspension of Service)
1) The Company may change or suspend all or part of the Service to improve it or as operationally or technically necessary.
2) Provision of the Service may be temporarily suspended for unavoidable reasons such as regular maintenance, equipment failure, or force majeure, and the Company will announce this in advance or afterward to the extent possible.
Article 13 (Intellectual Property)
1) Intellectual property rights in the diagnosis models, text, graphics, logos, data composition, and software included in the Service belong to the Company or the rightful holders.
2) Members may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially use the content of the Service without the Company's prior permission.
3) Rights in external public data (satellite, statistics, etc.) belong to their respective providers, and the Company uses such data for information purposes.
Article 14 (Limitation of Liability)
1) The Company is not liable for damages arising from causes beyond its reasonable control, such as force majeure, a member's fault, or third-party service failures.
2) The Company is not liable for judgments a member makes regarding investment, health, and the like in reliance on the Service's information, or for their results.
3) The Company does not intervene in, and is not liable for, disputes arising between members, or between a member and a third party, through the Service.
4) Nothing in this Article unfairly excludes any liability the Company must bear under applicable law.
Article 15 (Termination and Use Restrictions)
1) A member may request withdrawal at any time through in-service settings or customer inquiry, and the Company processes it without delay in accordance with applicable law.
2) If a member violates these Terms or applicable law, the Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement after prior notice (or after the fact in urgent cases).
3) Upon withdrawal, a member's personal information is destroyed in accordance with the Privacy Policy; information that must be retained by law is kept for the relevant period.
Article 16 (Governing Law and Disputes)
1) These Terms and use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2) If a dispute arises in connection with use of the Service, the Company and the member will resolve it in good faith through consultation; if no agreement is reached, jurisdiction lies with the court determined under the Civil Procedure Act.
