The One Underlying Reality of the 200-Some Diagnostic Names: The Reconstruction of Modern Medicine

If we connect together the two principles examined earlier and the reversed direction of calcium, an astonishing fact becomes clear. The 200-some complicated disease names that modern medicine classified are in fact merely the outward appearance showing in which organ, in which blood vessel of our body the single fundamental cause of "blood-vessel blockage due to microcalcification" appeared. This is by no means trying to deny the achievements of modern medicine. Rather it is the work of binding the fragmented 200-some diseases into one great root and redrawing the true form of disease.

Let us gather the diseases related to the heart in one place. High blood pressure, angina, myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, heart failure, aortic valve stenosis. The hospital diagnoses these as six different diseases, but if we dig deep they are results branching from a single root. It is precisely because microcalcification piled up in the thin blood vessels that feed and sustain the heart, so that the flow of blood sharply decreased and the normal signal was severed. It is merely divided into 6 different disease names according to at which part of the blood vessel, and how deeply, this microcalcification piled up.

The diseases related to the brain are also bound into one root. Cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, vascular dementia, dementia (Alzheimer's), Parkinson's disease, chronic headache. Though the outward appearance of these 6 diseases differs, their true cause is a single microcalcification piled up in the thin blood vessels of the brain. According to a study published in Neuron, a world-class brain-neuroscience journal, in the brain the very fine blood vessels and the nerve cells are bound and move as if one team. That is, when the blood vessel is ruined because of microcalcification, the brain nerve connected to it also collapses together.

The diseases that appear in the kidney, liver, and pancreas are the same. Chronic renal failure, kidney stones, non-alcoholic fatty liver, cirrhosis, type 2 diabetes, pancreatitis. All these diseases begin as microcalcification piles up in the thin blood vessels that make up each organ. When the blood vessel is blocked and collapses, the cells of the organ starve to death, and when the cells die, that organ in the end loses its function and is ruined. The various disease names of modern medicine are thus names attached to a specific stage in the process of an organ gradually being ruined, or to the symptom revealed on the surface.

The diseases that arise in the joints, bones, and teeth are no exception either. Osteoporosis, degenerative arthritis, calcific tendinitis in which stones arise in the shoulder and so on, gum disease (periodontal disease), and dental caries. Here the problem that microcalcification raises appears at two places simultaneously. The first is the phenomenon in which calcium flows rapidly out of the bone so that holes are bored in the bone (osteoporosis). The second is the phenomenon in which the calcium that thus lost its way and flowed out piles up, of all places, in the joints, ligaments, and gums, and hardens like stone (calcific tendinitis, periodontal disease). In the end, though it is like two sides of a coin arising from the same cause, the hospital handles this divided into completely different departments of orthopedics and dentistry.

Here one decisive fact is added. If we precisely analyze the microcalcification component that is tightly blocking the blood vessels, its identity is precisely a substance called "hydroxyapatite (Ca₁₀(PO₄)₆(OH)₂)." And astonishingly, this substance is a compound completely identical to the true component that makes up our body's bones. About 70 percent of human bone is made of precisely this hydroxyapatite. The fact that the microcalcification stuck to the wall of the thin blood vessels and the component that makes up my bone are chemically perfectly identical (that is, the clear evidence that the substance that was in my bone has moved its place intact to the blood-vessel wall) perfectly backs up the earlier explanation that "the direction of calcium flows backward."

If we thus redraw the true form of disease, the reason why now is the "Age of Physical Medicine" becomes clear.

If the past "Age of Chemical Medicine" concentrated on suppressing the symptoms revealed on the surface using medicine, and the recent "Age of Molecular Medicine" was absorbed in finding out the invisible problems of genes and proteins, the newly opened "Age of Physical Medicine" is different. This age directly leaps into the physical true cause of the flow of blood, the imbalance inside the body, and the blood vessels being tightly blocked, and resolves the problem. And at the very center of the tightly blocked root of the disease sits "microcalcification."

This new viewpoint opens a completely new road of healing for sick patients. It is a road on which, without rejecting the countless diagnoses and treatment methods the hospital has made, the patient themselves can manage and mend the deep root from which all those diseases branched out in common.

While the hospital's medicine and procedures put out the urgent fire revealed on the surface, the patient can directly step up to the true cause of the disease, "the work of changing the body's environment so that old calcium does not flow out of my bone." Only when the two layers (the surface of the hospital's firm treatment and the inner side of the patient's own fundamental environmental improvement) interlock and turn harmoniously can true and complete recovery be achieved.

The Identity of Aging: Not Time but the Accumulation of Microcalcification

Upon these two propositions the identity of aging is revealed. Aging is not time. On the basis of the two principles mentioned earlier, the true form of aging is revealed. Aging is not simply time passing. Aging is the process in which residue (microcalcification) piles up in the thin blood vessels so that the flow of blood and the balance inside the body collapse simultaneously. Time merely flows by like a background while microcalcification piles up; time itself by no means makes a person grow old and fall ill.

To understand this definition, let us examine one common phenomenon around us. What on earth is different between the blood vessels of a person in their 30s and those of a person in their 70s? If one answers simply "because of age," one cannot find the answer. This is because even among people in their 70s, there are those whose blood vessels are clear and clean like those of a 30-year-old, while there are also those who, though fresh young 30-somethings, have blood vessels hardened stiff like a 70-year-old elder. What makes that difference is not the physical time that has passed but how much microcalcification has congealed onto the blood-vessel wall and how it is spread.

The switch that thus makes microcalcification pile up is precisely the four major gateways that threaten health (DIAH). When the four crisis signals of nutritional shortage, inflammation in the body that does not heal, acidification due to fatigue substances, and oxygen shortage accumulate, our body declares a state of emergency and melts the bone to draw out calcium and phosphorus. When the calcium and phosphorus that lost their way and flowed out stick to the blood-vessel wall and become small stones, each one of those grains tightly blocks the pathway through which blood flows and the normal signal system of the cells simultaneously. The result accumulated over decades as this terrible process progresses a little every day, unnoticeably, is precisely "aging."

Precisely here it is decided whether the speed of aging quickens or slows. A person who lives with the four crisis signals turned on every day (like frequent overtime and chronic stress, processed food full of harmful additives, and chronic inflammation) has far more microcalcification pile up in the body even as the same time passes. Aging steps on the accelerator. Conversely, a person who lives turning off the body's crisis signals with regular sweat-inducing exercise, deep sleep, a healthy diet, and clean oxygen has far less microcalcification pile up during the same time. Aging progresses slowly and gently.

This fact is confirmed just the same in actual medical research materials. According to a large-scale study published in The Lancet, the world's highest-authority medical journal, an analysis of the data of 130,000 people from 17 countries around the world found that steady physical activity noticeably reduced the risk of death from heart and blood-vessel diseases. When one exercises, the flow of blood in the blood vessels is opened up; when the flow improves, a clear environment is made in which microcalcification is hard to clump; and when the environment improves, one can block more stones from piling up in the blood vessels. The true mechanism by which steady exercise slows aging lies precisely here.

But one thing must be coolly pointed out. Exercise or healthy everyday habits stay in the role of "defense that blocks additional accumulation" so that microcalcification piles up no further. They cannot play the role of directly breaking and "removing" the microcalcification already firmly embedded in the blood vessels. Fortunately this domain of direct removal is currently developing at an astonishing speed through cutting-edge medical research. A special imaging technology that finds only the place where microcalcification has piled up, as if by magic, and precisely takes a picture was published in Nature Communications and is actively in clinical research, and a new drug that directly blocks the very phenomenon of stones arising in the blood vessels has entered the final Phase 3 clinical trial for end-stage renal failure patients. Also, an ultra-fine nanotechnology that carries a special substance dissolving stones, sticking only to the ruined blood-vessel wall, has successfully recovered blood-vessel calcification in animal experiments. The road of healing that directly handles the invisible stones in the blood vessels is unfolding as reality in actual hospitals and laboratories, not as mere science fiction.

From this definition comes the formula of true recovery that the "Age of Physical Medicine" presents. Recovery is achieved only when "defense that blocks further accumulation" and "removal that clears away what has already accumulated" are fused like a multiplication. The reason it is not addition but multiplication is the very same reasoning as when, earlier, the two places of signal and pathway were blocked simultaneously as the disease arose. If the effort of either defense or removal is 0, however much one makes an effort at the other side, the result of the multiplication becomes 0 and true recovery does not occur. Only when both efforts are greater than 0 does the result finally become a positive number and the direction of growing old flip backward. Only when the patient's own everyday effort to block microcalcification from piling up further in the blood vessels and the medical removal technology that clears away the already-hardened stones interlock and turn simultaneously does true recovery occur. If one only works hard at one side, it merely slows a little the ruining clock, but when these two join forces, aging finally begins to flow backward.

Figure 6 organizes into one table, so it is easy to understand, the newly defined meaning of aging and the formula of true recovery. You can confirm at a glance the fact that aging is not simply time passing but microcalcification piling up in the body, and that true recovery occurs only when the defense that blocks microcalcification from piling up further and the technology that clears away what has already piled up are added like a multiplication.

The Bridge to the Next Chapter: Then How Is Cancer Explained

Now the two core principles examined earlier have become clear. The true cause of all things in the world collapsing is because of the "dual blockage (dual blockade) in which flow is severed," and the fundamental cause that raises a person's aging and chronic disease is the "microcalcification" in the blood vessels. The 200-some disease names the hospital calls in the end branched out from this single cause of the blood vessels being blocked, and the identity of that microcalcification blocking the blood vessels was not the calcium eaten by mouth but the old calcium melted out of my bone. Aging is not simply growing older but the process in which microcalcification piles up like microcalcification, and true recovery is possible only when "defense that blocks further accumulation" and "removal that clears away what has already accumulated" are combined like a multiplication. Also, we confirmed that the four gates that lead to death (the four major gateways that threaten health, DIAH) are opening a little every day even within everyday life, and that the result of those small crises accumulated is precisely the chronic disease we know.

But here one very large and important question remains. How on earth should we explain "cancer," the fearful disease that always occupies the number-one cause of death in the hospital statistics? Is cancer also one of the diseases that microcalcification raises, or is it a story of a completely different world?

The answer to this question is complicated to the point that it cannot be cut off in a single word. It is because cancer is not a single disease. The causes by which cancer first arises are very various. Cancer that arises as bad lifestyle habits and environment pile up (general adult cancer related to aging), cancer that arises because of genes inherited from parents, cancer that arises by viral infection (cervical cancer, etc.), cancer that arises in a young child who has not yet fully grown (childhood cancer), and cancer in which the blood itself falls ill (blood cancer): it is divided into roughly five branches. Thus the first causes by which the seed of cancer is initially sown are completely different from one another.

But there is one fearful commonality that runs through all these kinds of cancer. Whatever the cause by which the cancer first arose, in the process of the disease deepening they all in the end pass through the same "narrow bottleneck phenomenon." When the cancer mass grows beyond a certain size, its surrounding environment unfailingly falls into the swamp of oxygen shortage, acidification, chronic inflammation, and "dual blockade" in which the blood vessels are tightly blocked. It means that though the starting points were all different, the terrible gate they pass through when the disease worsens is all the same.

In the following chapter we will handle precisely this domain in great depth. We will examine in detail the fact that general cancer that arises with age and microcalcification are "twin products" grown in the end in the same bad environment, the truth that cancers arising from other causes not due to the environment also in the end have no choice but to pass through the same narrow alley in the process of worsening, and the identity of the "fifth layer," a new treatment method that completely changes the very bad environment in which cancer grows. It will probably be the longest and deepest story in this book. It is a time to look again, with a completely new gaze, at the "cancer" we vaguely feared.
