Placing Calcium in the Gap Darwin and Newton Missed (2)

The conversation DIAH-7M holds with the giants of the history of science

This piece is the latter part of Chapter 12 of Stones in the Body: More Frightening Than Cancer (Yoon Jong-won). It is a narrative that carries the author's academic hypothesis, and the body, figures, and citations follow the manuscript as written.

Second, the Complementarity of Relationships: Not Replacement but Expansion

In the history of science, a new theory has sometimes revised an existing theory. The theory of relativity exposed the limits of Newtonian mechanics, and quantum mechanics opened a world that classical mechanics could not explain. Of course, this was not a complete negation but an expansion under specific conditions, yet it also gave the impression that "the existing theory was wrong."

DIAH-7M does not negate any existing theory. It does not say that Darwin's theory of evolution is wrong. It does not claim that the Genome Project failed. It does not criticize modern medicine as mistaken.

Instead, it answers the questions that each discovery left behind. Darwin revealed "why things evolve." DIAH-7M complements this with "by what it is executed." The genome revealed "what has been designed." DIAH-7M complements this with "how it is operated." Modern medicine reveals "what disease it is." DIAH-7M complements this with "why it came along this pathway."

This is the complementarity of relationships. It takes the existing discoveries as a foundation and adds a new layer on top of them. It is not replacement but expansion.

Third, the Concreteness of Method: Not Concept but Substance and Pathway

The Gaia hypothesis opened the pioneering perspective of viewing the whole Earth as a single system. DIAH-7M shares this perspective while revealing one axis of that self-regulation through the concrete substance of calcium.

The biopsychosocial model pointed to the direction that "one must see the whole." But how to see the whole, and around what to connect it, was not clear. It presented a direction, but it could not draw a concrete map.

One Health declared that "humans, animals, and the environment are connected." But what connects them, and by what mechanism they influence one another, remained a task that each field had to research separately.

DIAH-7M is different. It presents the concrete substance of calcium and the concrete pathway of DIAH → calcium efflux → 7M as its central axis. Along this central axis, evolution, heredity, physiology, pathology, environment, Eastern thought, and modern civilization are arranged within a single picture.

It is not an abstract declaration but a concrete map. It is not a philosophical perspective but a material pathway.

Plate tectonics has the structure most similar to this. Just as the single mechanism of mantle convection connected earthquakes, volcanoes, the formation of mountain ranges, and continental drift, the single mechanism of the calcium cycle connects evolution, physiology, pathology, and environment.

But whereas plate tectonics stayed inside earth science, DIAH-7M expands its scope to life science, environmental science, and even the criticism of civilization.

3. The Same Nature, a Different Angle

Here one important point must be noted.

What is the reason DIAH-7M can have such a broad scope, such a complementary relationship, and such a concrete method?

Just as the great existing discoveries revealed different aspects of nature, DIAH-7M too looked at the same nature from the perspective of calcium and circulation. Because it looked at the same object from a different angle, it naturally connects and complements.

The principle of evolution that Darwin discovered also came from nature. The law of motion that Newton discovered also came from nature. The secret of heredity that the genome revealed also came from nature. The wisdom of circulation that Eastern medicine intuited is also the result of observing nature.

DIAH-7M is the same. That calcium executes life, that DIAH opens the emergency warehouse, and that 7M brings down the body are not something the author invented.

He observed the phenomena that actually operate in nature and organized the already validated individual mechanisms into a single axis.

That is why DIAH-7M connects naturally with the great existing discoveries. It is because all of them looked at the same nature from a different angle.

The expansion of scope, the complementarity of relationships, and the concreteness of method were not forced into being; they are possible because nature was originally connected as one.

Conclusion: Toward a Greater Advance Through Convergence, Toward a Science of Coexistence

Until now we have looked at how DIAH-7M meets the great existing discoveries, how it converses with them, and how it occupies its own unique position.

DIAH-7M does not seek to replace the existing science. Darwin's theory of evolution, the Human Genome Project, modern medicine, Eastern medicine, environmental science. Standing on the legacy that these great discoveries have built up, it seeks to answer the questions they left behind and to widen further the door they opened.

DIAH-7M is not a new hypothesis. It is an integrated system completed by rearranging the countless already validated puzzle pieces around the single axis of calcium. The action of PTH, the relationship between inflammation and bone metabolism, the effect of acidosis on bone, hypoxia and calcium overload, the mechanism of vascular calcification. All of these individual pieces have already been scientifically validated over several decades. DIAH-7M gathers these scattered pieces and shows a single completed picture.

The unique value of DIAH-7M lies in three axes. The expansion of scope crosses the boundary of a single discipline and connects evolution, heredity, physiology, pathology, environment, Eastern thought, and modern civilization with the single substance of calcium. The complementarity of relationships does not negate existing discoveries but answers and expands the questions each left behind. The concreteness of method is not an abstract declaration or a philosophical perspective, but arranges the whole around a concrete substance and a concrete pathway as its central axis.

This is a new type of approach that had not been attempted in the history of science. It is neither an integration within a single discipline nor something that stops at a conceptual declaration. Along the reality of calcium and the pathway of DIAH-7M, it is a new attempt to view nature and life and civilization as a whole within a single picture.

Because it crosses the boundaries of disciplines and connects them, we can see the human being and the Earth together. Because it does not negate the existing but complements it, we can make full use of all the accumulated wisdom. Because it presents a concrete pathway, anyone can practice it starting today. This is the reason DIAH-7M can advance toward a science of coexistence.

Humanity now stands at a turning point. Behind the abundance brought by the advance of technology, the shadows of chronic disease and environmental destruction grow deeper. To overcome this crisis, the direction in which science looks must be expanded.

DIAH-7M presents the direction of that expansion. From decomposition to connection. From abstraction to substance. From treatment to prevention. From technology to life. From use to coexistence.

When the great existing discoveries and DIAH-7M converge, we can achieve a greater advance. That is not simply knowing more, but living better. That the human being lives healthily and long, and that the Earth is sustained without falling ill.

This is the science of coexistence that DIAH-7M presents.
